                Madhu Balakrishnan (born twenty four June1974) is associate Indian playback singer United Nations agency sings in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages. 

Life 

              Madhu Balakrishnan holds a degree in music from the Academy of Indian Music and humanities, Chennai. He started coaching in carnatic music from his childhood underneath Sreedevi and Chandramana Narayanan Namboothiri, and later had the steering of T. V. Gopalakrishnan, Manikrishna Hindu and Vedavalli of city. 

             Madhu Balakrishnan is from Tripunithura, Cochin, Kerala in Asian country. he's a hierarchical creative person for All India Radio and Doordarshan. He has performed with major playback singers like K.J. Yesudas, Asha Bhosle, Jayachandran, M. G. Sreekumar, K. S. Chitra, Sujatha Mohan, Madhuri and P. Susheela. he's a life member of the Malayalam Cine Technicians Association (MACTA). He performs frequently within the "Swaralaya Dance & Music Festival" control in Palakkad "Chembai Sangeethootsavam" in Guruvayur and also seems in widespread tv programs on south Indian tv channels like Doordarshan, Kairali TV, Asianet and Amrita TV. He has conjointly performed overseas in countries like UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Malaysia, North American nation and Singapore

           Madhu is married to Viditha ("Divya"), sister of the Indian athlete Sreesanth. they need 2 sons, Madhav (b. 2002) and Mahaadev (b. 2009).

Career 

Singing : 

              Madhu shot to fame with the song "Amme Amme" from the film "Vaalkannadi" in 2002, that got him a Kerala Government State Award. He has sung around one hundred fifty malayalam film songs, sixty five Kannada film songs, forty five Telugu film songs and eighty Tamil film songs. He has sung virtually 10,000 songsin pious and alternative non-film albums.

             Some of Madhu's hits embrace "Kuttanadan Kaayalile" from "Kazhcha" in malayalam, "Konjaneram Konjaneram" a duet with Asha Bhosle from "Chandramukhi", the Rajnikanth starrer, "Kanakandenadi Sharade" from "Aptamitra" in Kannada and "Kannaa kandeinadee" from the Tamil film "Parthiban Kanavu". His hit song "Pichai Pathiram", written and set to music by Ilaiyaraaja for the motion-picture show Naan Kadavul, won him the Mirchi Music award in 2010.
