Kozhikode Abdul Kader

               Kozhikode Abdul Kader, born Leslie Andrews (February nineteen, 1916 – thirteen, feb 1977) was a Malayalam playback singer. 

Life

             Born to J. S. Andrews and Manini on feb nineteen, 1916, Andrews regenerate to Islam and rechristened himself as Abdul Kader once he landed up in Union of Burma. He was 1st noticed by the musician V. Dakshinamoorthy. The music musician M. S. Baburaj was additionally deeply affected by the young man's voice.

            Kader created his debut as a playback singer in South Dravidian film Navalokam in 1951.

            He married Santha Hindu deity and has 2 children Suresh baboo and late Sathyajith during this wedding.

           Kader died on feb thirteen, 1977. In 2008 Nadeem Noushad, a film maker, has directed a film on Kozhikode Abdul Kadar titled Desh Raagathil Oru Jeevitham.
