Life

              Smt. nithyasree was born to lalitha sivakumar and that i. sivakumar. her paternal grandparent, d. k. pattammal, and her uncle, d. k. jayaraman, were distinguished carnatic vocalists who were established disciples of ambi dikshithar, papanasam sivan, muthiah bhagavathar, and others. her maternal grandparent was the mridangam master, palghat mani iyer.

                 Her mother, lalitha sivakumar, was her initial guru (teacher). like her mother, nithyashree was conjointly the follower of d. k. pattammal, and would accompany her mutually. nithyashree's father, an accomplished mridangist and follower of palghat mani iyer, would perpetually show his support and accompany nithyashree once she performed. 
                She presently resides at kottur gardens, chennai. she married mahadevan in 1999 and that they have 2 daughters. mahadevan un agency was mentally depressed following his mother's death in 2007, committed suicide by jumping into adyar stream on december twenty, 2012.

Singing
