                 Taran kaur dhillon (born twenty nine july 1979), better-known by her pseudonym laborious kaur, could be abritish indian rapper and hip hop singer; also as playback singer and actor in bollywood. she is usually attribute able to be the primary feminine indian rapper.

Life

                       Hard kaur was born taran kaur dhillon in meerut, province, wherever her mother ran atiny low store within the house. once she was young, her father was burnt alive throughout 1984 anti-sikh riots and her mother's store was burnt many days once her father's death. her paternal grandparents asked her mother to go away their house and needed to stay solely taran and her brother with them. later on she, her brother and her mother touched to hoshiarpur to her maternal grandparents house, wherever they stayed for succeeding few years.

                 In 1991 her mother remarried a british national and her family affected to birmingham, england, wherever her mother started operating and finding out to eventually open a store. meantime arduous kaur did her schooling. When developing interest in hip-hop she started her music career as a rapper.

Music

                She recorded the song "ek glassy" and was prime for the united kingdom then in 2007 rapped for sriram raghavan's show reb gaddaar's song "paisa phek (move your body)." since then she has sung in movies like ugly aur pagli ("talli"), singh is kinng, kismat konnection, bachna ae haseeno, ram gopal varma ki aag, ajab prem ki ghazab kahani, and prince.

                Kaur performed at live earth bharat, 2008. her initial solo album supawoman was discharged in 2007.

                In 2008 laborious kaur was appointed for 2 awards at the united kingdom asian music awards: "best urban act" and "best feminine act". she won "best feminine act".

               In 2012, laborious kaur discharged her single "peeney do" with sony music bharat.
