Life

Career

As Playback Singer : 

               Mahathi began her playback singing career with master illayaraja. she recorded a solo “enna maranthalum” in his music direction within the moving picture kaadhal jaathi. sadly, this moving picture failed to see the sunshine of day.

              In 2003 mahathi herb a duet, “aiyyaiyyo pudichirukku”, with hariharan, below the music direction of harris jayaraj in vikram’s super hit moving picture, saamy.

2006 : Toured australia (melbourne & sydney) with dr. kj yesudas & smt.sujatha mohan in october . performed at the concert hall in sydney opera house. this performance is the first tamil show at the sydney opera house.

2008 : Performed for the enfield nagabooshani amman temple, london with sri. harish raghavendra in march .

2008 : Performed at the sharjah cricket association stadium with deva (music director) for a star nite show in february .

Performed a live concert for the tamil new year at colombo for the srilankan government tamil channel roopavahini. 

2010 : Toured all over the united states in may - june for concerts and shows.

2010 : Toured uk for concerts in november .

2011 : Performed for the kuwait tamil sangam in may.

2012 : toured all over the united states in october - november for concerts and shows along with playback singers harish raghavendra and sathya prakash.
