             Rekha bhardwaj (also spelled 'bharadwaj') is associate degree indian playback singer. she is thought within the business for her distinctive singing vogue. she is that the recipient of a national film award for the most effective feminine playback singer for the film ishqiya in 2011. in 2012, she won the film fare award for best playback singer (female) beside usha uthup for the song "darling" from seven khoon maaf. she is married to the known director, producer, and music musician, vishal bharadwaj.

Professional Career

                Rekha was a student of music at hindu faculty, delhi. she free her 1st album titled 'ishqa ishqa' in 2002 and won vital acclaim. her song within the film omkara, "namak issq ka", written by gulzar and composed by her husband, vishal, won her accolades. she credits each of them along with her success. she considers lata mangeshkar her idol.

               The song "raat ki jogan" from the album, ishqa ishqa was planned in 1994, virtually ten years before it free, once vishal bhardwaj had started composing baba bulleh shah's poetry for rekha's album. she wont to come with vishal for music sittings with gulzar for his film maachis wherever at some point, gulzar same he would write the words for rekha's album.
