                Harini is associate degree indian film playback singer and classical singer, un agency sings primarily in tamil films. she has conjointly sung in hindi, malayalam, telugu and south dravidian language films, while operating with several leading film composers. she is married to a different playback singer, tippu.

                   Harini learnt carnatic music from gowri and radha viswanathan from the age of 4. in her later years, she learned from sudha raghunathan and presently from suguna purushotthaman. 

                   She accustomed participate at school competitions and in one such competition that she won, a. r. rahman who distributed the prizes invited the winners to his studio to record their voices. later on, she was referred to as by suhasini maniratnam to sing "nila kaigirathu" for her initial film indira. her terribly initial song, "nila kaigirathu", was recorded at the age of thirteen. since then, she has received offers from varied music administrators across south bharat. at intervals a career spanning for a decade, she herb over 2000 film songs and a number of other album songs, most of them in tamil. she is additionally attributable for her smart memory skills for not having any reference whereas singing in her stage shows. she claims to own known all her songs by memory at any purpose in time.
