              Mahendra Kapoor (January nine, 1934, Amritsar, Punjab, India – Sept twenty seven, 2008, Mumbai, India) was Associate in Nursing Indian playback singer.

             In a career spanning 5 decades, his repertoire extended to 2500 songs in varied regional languages, together with standard songs like ‘Chalo ek baar phir se Ajnabi ban jayen hum dono’ Gumrah, ‘Neele gagan ke taale’ Hamraaz. His name but became most closely related to loyal songs together with ‘Mere Desh Ki Dharti', in Manoj Kumar’s film Upkaar In 1972, he was awarded the Padma Shri by the govt of India. 

Life


            Mahendra Kapoor was born in Amritsar, however shortly rapt to metropolis.              Some of Kapoor's most notable ones were those he performed in B.R. Chopra's films (Dhool Ka Phool, Gumrah, Waqt, Hamraaz, Dhund etc.) and for Manoj Kumar (Upkaar, Purab Aur Paschim etc.) 

             Kapoor had a really giant vocal vary, and he's generally called the colourful Voice of India. He was the primary Indian playback singer to record music in English.              On Sep twenty seven, 2008, Kapoor died following a viscus failure. He was survived by his partner, children, children-in-law and grandchildren.
