       Chimta  Virtually Suggests That Device. Over Time It's Evolved Into A Standard percussive Instrument Of South Asia By The Permanent Addition Of Little Brass Jingles. This Instrument Is Usually employed In Common Punjabi Folks Songs, Bhangra Music And Also The Sikh Music Genre Referred To As Gurbani Kirtan.
